WET LAB INFORMATION
The wet lab facilities contain 25 stalls, a radiology room, surgery room and an additional classroom.
There are also a variety of dental instruments & equipment accessible for students of the Academy of
Equine Dentistry.

RADIOLOGY ROOM
The radiology room is a vital part of the wet lab. X-rays are an important means of getting correct information about advanced cases that come through the wet lab.
NEW SURGERY ROOM FOR WET LAB
A surgery room was completed in August 2003 at the Academy wet lab.
It is a completely padded room with a removable 10 inch foam padded floor
for easy clean up, and includes a viewing area above for observation of
surgical procedures. Under general anesthesia, the horse has a safe place
to recover from a surgery. Through the advancement of new equine
dental procedures, we anticipate an increased need for the surgery and
recovery room. This is a wonderful addition to the wet lab
and is a great asset to the Academy.
